Donald Trump got cracked on after complaining about Time Magazine Person of the Year cover
Donald Trump got cracked on after he decided that it would be a good idea to tweet out to folks that he turned down Time Magazine’s Person of the Year award.
Trump tweeted out to folks, “Time Magazine called to say that I was PROBABLY going to be named “Man (Person) of the Year,” like last year, but I would have to agree to an interview and a major photo shoot. I said probably is no good and took a pass. Thanks anyway!”
That tweet had folks asking, “What the fuck man?!” The VEEP’s Julia Louis-Dreyfus tweeted that the New York Times is naming her the “comedienne of the year.”
Tennis star Andy Murray joined in on the fun tweeting that the BBC will let him top its headlines as the “sports personality of the year” as long as he agrees to an “interview and major photo shoot.”
Comedian Patton Oswalt responded to Trump’s tweet with one word, “Ditto.” The folks over at Time Magazine added their two cents to the tweetversation, letting everybody know they don’t call folks who they’re thinking about naming Person of the Year.
By the way, next week on December 6, 2017, we’ll all know who the Person of the Year is.
I think it’s going to be Russia President Vladimir Putin since he caused all of this whoshawjohn with that election meddling and everything.
I could be wrong about Putin being Time Magazine’s Person of the Year, but hey. The one thing I do know is that it won’t be Donald J. Trump Sr.
I believe the folks over there at Time Magazine really don’t like the dude. And I can’t blame them because they have good reasons not to like ol’ Trump.
The main reason the folks over at Time Magazine have to not like ol’ Trump is the fact that he lied before about Time Magazine choosing him to be the Person of the Year back in 2009.
Now I must admit that ol’ Trump was Time Magazine’s Person of the Year last year while his main man Putin was Time Magazine’s Person of the Year in 2007.
Having said all of that, it still doesn’t excuse Trump’s crazy behavior regarding not being named the Person of the Year this year.
It also doesn’t undermine the fact that Trump placed several copies of his fake Time Magazine cover dated March 1, 2009, throughout his many country clubs stretching from Florida to Scotland.
Time Magazine got wind of it and told ol’ Trump to take down the fake magazine cover, which he did.
Now, reasonable folks want to know why ol’ Donald is so concern with being on a magazine cover as the Person of the Year when he is the president of the number one country in the world.
For normal folks, being the president of the number one country in the world is more of an honor than being named Person of the Year on a magazine cover.
But then again, ol’ Trump isn’t normal. Trump has problems that even the devil won’t bargain for his soul in order to help him to get over.
Trump has an insatiable need to be seen and heard at all times. It’s like he’s stuck in that toddler phase.
Hey, maybe that’s the problem! Trump’s mama and daddy didn’t give him enough hugs and love and now he’s looking for it in unconventional places like the Time Magazine Person of the Year cover.
